Sometimes we reach a point where things just aren’t working—and we don’t quite know why. That’s often where therapy begins. I’m Caroline, and I work with individuals, parents, and families who want to feel more connected and understood.
The way we are treated in early relationships and the relationships we observe can significantly influence our self-perception, our views of relationships, and interactions with others. My aim is to help clients recognize these patterns to enhance their understanding of themselves and their relationships, paving the way for meaningful change and more fulfilling connections.
I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion. Together, in our sessions, we’ll identify patterns, clarify needs, and create new ways of relating—to yourself and those around you.
I view therapy as an open, engaged conversation where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Collaboration
I believe meaningful change happens through a shared process.
Connection
I believe that feeling seen, heard, and understood can be transformative, and that change begins in the context of connection.
Authenticity & Honesty
I bring my genuine self to our sessions and hold space for you to do the same; honesty and trust go hand in hand.
Respect
I approach our relationship with respect for your pace, story, and values.
I’ve completed seven years of graduate-level education in psychology, including an MA in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. I hold two Master’s degrees and am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. I’m currently completing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), with my clinical residency underway. All services are offered in my capacity as a counsellor.
I offer 100% online therapy across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and limited availability in PEI with evening and weekend availability to fit your schedule. I support individuals, parents, families, and men exploring fatherhood, relational identity, and emotional growth. If you are located elsewhere in Canada and would like to work together, please send me a message!
If you’re curious about starting therapy, we can schedule a free phone consult to see if we’re a good fit. I offer services in Halifax, and I offer secure virtual therapy for clients living in Moncton, New Brunswick and throughout Atlantic Canada. I also work with select clients beyond these regions, if you are interested in exploring if this may one the right fit feel free to reach you.

You may be considering a career change or navigating a major life transition, from graduating high school to retiring. Perhaps the decision feels high-stakes, you are worried about making the “wrong” choice, or you simply know that something needs to change but are not yet sure what.
I’m Katherine, and I work with individuals who want greater clarity, confidence, and support as they decide what comes next and move forward.
Each person brings existing strengths, knowledge, and resilience shaped by their experiences and relationships. My aim is to help clients recognize and build on these strengths, better understand the barriers affecting their progress, and develop practical steps toward meaningful change that align with their values and goals.
I offer an open, non-judgmental space to explore where you are, what you would like to change, and what may be getting in the way.
Together, we can clarify your goals, identify practical next steps, and consider how potential changes may affect different areas of your life. Sessions may involve developing a clear direction, working through challenges tailored to your needs, and reflecting on the changes you begin making outside of counselling.
Counselling provides dedicated, structured time to focus on your needs in a supportive and purposeful setting.
Relational
I believe relationships are central to how we understand ourselves, experience the world, and create meaningful change.
Adaptable
I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. I adjust our sessions in response to your changing needs.
Understanding
I believe understanding begins with curiosity about the meaning behind your words, choices, and experiences. I also prioritize clear and thoughtful communication.
Strengths-Based
I believe every client brings valuable strengths, skills, and resources. I help you recognize and build on them throughout counselling.
I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Dalhousie University, as well as an additional bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University. I have seven years of experience providing social work services and support to teens, transition-aged youth, and adults navigating complex needs and periods of crisis. I also provide consultation to nonprofit organizations.
I offer 100% online support across Ontario and New Brunswick, with daytime, evening and weekend availability to fit your schedule. I work across the lifespan with individuals from adolescence up who are navigating transitions and life changes.
I look forward to connecting if you would like to explore whether working together may be a good fit.
